JD:
· The Release & Application manager isresponsible for Release Management and the management of DCCS (Mainframe CodeDeployment Tool), Dimensions (Distributed Code Deployment Tool), and interimsupport of Incident Management (TTTS) and Integrated Voice Response (IVR) tool.
· The Release Manager will be responsible forimplementing a holistic (people, process, technology) view which considers allaspects of a change including planning, designing, building, testing, training,communications and deployment activities. They are the Subject Matter Expertfor Release Management and the identified applications.
· The Release & Application manager is responsiblefor:* Establishing ITIL-aligned Release Management policies, processes andprocedures * Implementation and enforcement of Release Management
· Responsible for the guidance of applicationsystems analyst/programmer. Leads, Instructs, directs, assigns, and checks thework of other application systems analyst/programmers. Leads the formulationand definition of system scope and objectives based on user needs.
· Devises or modify procedures to resolve complexproblems taking into consideration computer equipment capacity and limitations,operating time and form desired results. Research and fact finding to developand/or modify complex integration of applications and solutions across theenterprise (corporation). Prepare detail specifications from programs will bewritten. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents and maintains those programs.
· Competent to work at the highest technical levelof all phases of application systems analysis/programming activities.Demonstrate expertise in a variety of the fields concepts, practices, andprocedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplishgoals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
· A wide degree of creativity and latitude isexpected. Lead and direct the work of others. May report directly to asupervisor/manager or senior manager. Requires a bachelor’s degree in a relatedarea and eight plus years of experience in the field or in a related area.
· Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years ofexperience.
· Excellent project management skills and abilityto lead a team in a high paced environment.
· Excellent communications skills includingworking knowledge of MS office products.
· Experience with Audit systems, IT securityassessments and auditing standards.
· Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley controls and theirimplementation in Business as well as IT.
· Knowledge of package software environments suchas Dimensions.
· Knowledge of IT development languages in themainframe and distributed environments.
· Knowledgeable of ITIL Release Managementprocesses and tools.
· Ability to be on call for 24/7 support asnecessary
