Description:
– The LabWare LIMS Developer provides analytical support for conceptualization, development and implementation of complex systems of multiple inter-linked programs in a client/server environment. In-depth knowledge of all phases of client/server applications technology. Responsible for the analysis, design, coding, debugging, testing and documentation of computer programs. Broad experience in programming graphical user interfaces (GUI). Extensive knowledge and skill with object-oriented programming, relational database structures and Structured Query Language (SQL). May act as team or project leader on major applications projects.
Responsibilities:
– Maintains professional interaction with the applications staff and user community to ensure adequate system functionality, promote team participation and encourage user confidence in the applications staff quality service.
– To perform database maintenance of LIMS as authorized by business users, and under the control of current SOPs.
– Assists trains and educates the LIMS user community in the research for new approaches to improve processing and the use of the software as well as assisting with update and development of applications reports.
– Researches and corrects problems with the LIMS Development and Production applications in an efficient and timely manner to ensure a high degree of data integrity and overall system stability.
– Perform high level specialized duties in the analysis, evaluation, design, development, programming, testing, implementation, documentation and maintenance for LabWare LIMS.
Qualifications :
– 3-5 years experience with Oracle 10 or 11G
– 3-5 years experience with the LabWare LIMS product versions 5 or 6
– LIMS v5 to v6 upgrade experience in an EPA or FDA regulated environment
– Ability to write and troubleshoot LabWare LIMS basic code
– 3-5 years experience interfacing automated test equipment
– 2-3 years experience configuring LabWare Electronic Laboratory Notebook v2
– Extensive knowledge of programming languages, troubleshooting techniques, database structures, triggers and procedures, application server platforms, middleware and operating systems.
– Good knowledge of Crystal Reports
